I really did come here by my own free will. It will be exciting to have a reason to write instead of simply sending half-baked social criticisms to newspapers that don't publish them. Actually, I had one letter-to-the-editor published and got to be on a radio show because of it. However, the paper failed to publish any responses that were in my favor (I am REALLY sure that they published everything they got in response. Yeah, right.)

Let's hope this experiment brings some spirited discussion!
